There are three different feeds you can subscribe to, which correspond to the different types of content. Links are short posts of one or two paragraphs which simply share an interesting link with brief commentary. Entries are longer prose pieces of at least 300 words. If you subscribe to everything, you'll get everything I publish, including approximately one entry and five links a week. Comments are not included in the everything feed. If you want to subscribe to comments, you can keep up with the conversation using the comments feed.

Golden Friend

A flash of gold in the stream of my life
A small nugget of gold at first
As taken into the light,
he shown upon those around him
in spirit, mind, and body
Always ready to play,
whatever the day
Until the sun which makes all life shin
took the nugget of gold
back to the forge

Now I must return to panning
in the stream of my life
As it winds by many banks
and someday,
becomes a river,
and after that merges with another sparking river
After many waterfalls and rocks
it will eventually wind back to the sea
Through it all, it will carry the dust and memory
from the shining nugget of gold
