There are three different feeds you can subscribe to, which correspond to the different types of content. Links are short posts of one or two paragraphs which simply share an interesting link with brief commentary. Entries are longer prose pieces of at least 300 words. If you subscribe to everything, you'll get everything I publish, including approximately one entry and five links a week. Comments are not included in the everything feed. If you want to subscribe to comments, you can keep up with the conversation using the comments feed.

About

Newly Ancient is the personal blog of Morgante Pell, a high school junior and web developer. By personal, I mean that it is written solely and entirely by me, not that it concerns my life — that would be far too boring. Instead, topics discussed within these pages include design, technology, politics, and education. Newly Ancient was first started in June of 2006, when Morgante had recently completed 7th grade. In July of 2008, Morgante abandoned the first incarnation of Newly Ancient to do some soul searching. On September 1 of 2008, Newly Ancient was resurrected in its present form. Format includes a mix of longer entries and shorter links meant to highlight content elsewhere. Content focuses around technology, education, and where the two intersect.

Who?

I am a 16-year-old from the green mountains of Vermont. If you are insane enough to want to find more information about me, you can find entirely too much on my personal site.
